Maybe within our entire solar system.
And we get to carry a chunk of it with us.

Everything else in the world behaves.

- life evolves

Cognition is different.
It lets us defy the script.
To reshape our own path.

We don't have to merely exist.
We can examine existence.

- We talk about it
- We write about it
- We reflect on it

We can question what is...
and decide what could be, then work to make it so.

All acts of cognition.
Each, uniquely human.

It's our lever.
Present in all of us, right now.

PS. I'm avoiding the word "intelligence". It has become shorthand for speed, smarts, and IQ. Cognition is more fundamental (and harder to fake).
