My 9yo, this morning:
My 9yo, this morning:
"NOOOO pizza for dinner. I don't like pizza!"
Struggling to believe that sentence was possible, I asked...
"What if we got Pizza Hut?"
Her: "Oh, yeah! Definitely. Let's do that."
Today's lesson is about assumptions.
I said pizza.
She heard sourdough crust, light sauce, and sparse cheese.
We do this at work all the time.
Same words, totally different meanings.
It’s not disagreement. It’s misalignment.
Sometimes you don’t need new ideas.
You just need to define what “pizza” means.
... and since mom’s out of town, for tonight,
pizza means Pizza Hut and everyone wins. 🍕
