We are all getting a lesson in leverage.
We are all getting a lesson in leverage.
With less effort, capacity increases.
So, what do we do with the surplus time and energy?
Leverage always reveals two paths:
Path A: Do less.
Path B: Do more.
History doesn’t debate which one wins.
From plows to tractors,
we didn’t farm less. Farms got bigger.
From horses to automobiles,
we didn’t shorten our commutes. We increased them.
From calculators to spreadsheets,
we didn’t do less math. We did more of it.
In the short term, individuals get a choice.
In the long term, markets pull in one direction.
Leverage doesn't reduce ambition.
It expands it.
And then it disappears into the baseline...
transforming any advantage in just another expectation.
