She dropped more nuggets of wisdom than I can count. They shaped more than my career. They shaped the person I've become.

A few of the simpler ones...
- "Dress for the job you want, not the job you have."
- "Your network IS your net-worth. Every job I've gotten came from someone I knew."

From my typing teacher freshman year, to marketing teacher, then DECA leader, school store "owner", and so much more... she did more to fuel my creativity and budding love for entrepreneurship than anyone I know.

- She found unique ways to teach.
- She indulged my questions and curiosities.
- She set me loose to explore crazy ideas while working in our school store.
- She trusted me to build an entire stage in the cafeteria for the schools first fashion show (part of the fashion marketing class she launched)!

Queen of Project Based Learning.

Perhaps most impactful of all...
She created a space I felt comfortable enough to just drop in, chat, and be myself (a priceless gift during the awkward years of high school).
