WIP: Work in Progress

WIP: Work in Progress
Product teams use it to label unfinished work.
But it's most common outside of technology.

Humans.
Civilization.
Our planet.

All WIP.

These two words carry a lot of weight:
1. Work. Change demands effort.
2. Progress. Even setbacks move things forward.

I don't have any tattoos,
but this is the most inkable concept I've found.
It's one of the only constants in life.

When we bump up against how broken things seem,
the flaws, disagreements, and injustices...

It's natural.

Every construction zone has hazards.
It's not done yet.
None of it.

So maybe it's not a problem.
Maybe it is an invitation.

If the current state doesn't match our desires or expectations,
does it matter enough for us to do the work?
