Define your terms.

Define your terms.
If we don't know what 'done' looks like, we'll never know when we arrive.

- Fun
- Happy
- Rich
- Successful
- Peace

We toss out these terms as things we want, but don't paint a clear picture of what they mean to us.

As a result...
We chase other people's definitions.
We follow paths to the wrong destinations.
We undervalue what we already have.
We risk what matters for that which doesn't.

Our minds trick us into feeling productive, but without clear definitions, we just wandering... and expecting others to do the same.

"People may spend their whole lives climbing the ladder of success only to find, once they reach the top, that the ladder is leaning against the wrong wall"

So what?
Define your terms.

- What does successful mean to me?
- What does rich mean to me?
- What does happy mean to me?
- What does peace mean to me?
- What does fun mean to me?

Rich might mean more free time, not a number.
Success might mean impact, not a job title.
Peace might mean aligned action, not absence of challenge.

We get to choose what these mean.
The only failure is not choosing at all.
