Drip by drip, the water wears away at the stone.

Drip by drip, the water wears away at the stone.

We had a lot of failed attempts when we started 3D printing.
So many settings to configure. So many things to adjust.
It was painful.

Fortunately, there are test prints designed to isolate specific features: holes, angles, embossing, freestanding structures.

Each test gave us something specific to work on.

The list was long, but finite. We could work through it, one problem at a time.

Each failed print gave us another clue about what to adjust next. And each adjustment made the next attempt a little more informed.

Drip by drip.

By the end, a few hundred grams of pristine plastic felt like a gold medal.
