Every system has value creators and value consumers.

Every system has value creators and value consumers.
"Value" has many definitions.
- monetary
- satisfaction
- purpose
- comfort

"System" has many definitions.
- our planet
- countries
- companies
- families
- relationships

Growing systems have more value creation than value consumption.
Declining systems have more consumption than creation.

My personal goal within any system I operate:
Surplus

It's not enough to add value.
I want to add MORE value than I consume.
Give more than I take.
Leave it better than I found it.

I want friendships like that.
I want a household like that.
I want to build businesses like that.
I want to live in a community like that.

Systems rarely fail all at once.

They erode steadily overtime as consumption outpaces creation. If collapse were quick and loud, we'd react. But it's the slow, quiet drift that threaten existence.

Too many people extracting value will cause a system to fail.
But enough people choosing surplus can allow everyone to thrive.
