Help, please!
Help, please!
I'm developing a technology curriculum for my kids.
Their school has an existing standard that I love:
Ethical use of technology
What does it mean to be an ethical user of technology?
- Conduct ourself with integrity (even when anonymous).
- Prevent harm to ourselves and others.
- Ensure social good.
That's a great baseline... but I want more.
I want them to use technology to create, not consume.
To collaborate with others, not isolate themselves.
Amplify their unique taste and perspective, not mind meld into mediocrity.
... and develop the skills to unplug, too.
What else should I be considering?
