"These are the good ol' days."
Last night, the kids stayed up past their bedtime.
Mom was at yoga. Dad was in charge.

My oldest daughter (10yo) coordinated a "design competition."

The prompt was simple:
- pick two fruits from the list
- draw a picture with them

As we sat quietly around our kitchen table, peacefully winding down our day, laughing, and squeezing out the last drops of our creative energy, I soaked it all in.

It's one thing to fulfill the dreams we have for our lives. But many of life's most meaningful moments are the ones we never could have imagined in advance.

I often wonder how many evenings like this we have left.
These are the good ol' days.
