Two words: "Weighted StairMaster"

Two words: "Weighted StairMaster"
Every mountain has a summit, but not the StairMaster.
Endless cycles of effort (and improvement).

Want to push harder and longer uphill during trail runs?
Weighted StairMaster

- more sessions
- longer duration
- heavier weight

Surprise, surprise... it's not enjoyable.
It looks ridiculous.
It's grueling, unpleasant work.
But it is effective.

It's Type 2 Fun.
Difficult or miserable in the moment, but fun in retrospect, from the sense of accomplishment.

Far enough into most journeys, this becomes the norm.

If you've put in the work,
the fundamentals are in place and
all low hanging fruit is plucked.

From that point on, progress belongs to the people willing to stare into the slog, embrace it, and keep climbing anyway.
